
Panasonic drops two new Lumix cameras and a fast zoom

Two new full-frame mirrorless cameras and a fast standard zoom boost the Lumix line-up
Panasonic has revealed two new full-frame mirrorless cameras, the Lumix S1II and the Lumix S1IIE, plus a brand new large-aperture standard zoom lens, the Lumix S 24-60mm f/2.8.
In addition, new firmware updates for Lumix S1RII, Lumix S Series Lenses (S-X50, S-R24105, S- R2060), Lumix Flow and Lumix Lab will bring the advanced features from the latest camera models to the S1RII.
The Lumix S1II is designed for professional photographers and videographers and will be available in June for £2899. With the lens it is £3599.
It features a newly developed 24.1MP full-frame partially stacked CMOS sensor powered by an advanced-generation Venus Engine, enabling fast readout speeds and processing, as well as 4K 120p and 5.1K 60p video. It offers up to 15 stops of dynamic range, internal Apple ProRes RAW recording, high speed 70 frames continuous photo shooting, as well as the highly regarded Open Gate shooting modes.

- High-speed continuous shooting with the electronic shutter mode

The Lumix S1IIE offers great operational ease for users embarking on higher grade content creation and will be available in June for £2399, or £2999 with the lens.

- Exceptional image quality tailored for diverse shooting conditions
- Adopts 24.2MP sensor inspired by the performance characteristics of the Lumix S5II
- Supports 6K 30p open gate video recording and 14+ stops of dynamic range in V-Log
- High-speed continuous shooting

Finally, the new Lumix S 24-60mm f/2.8 lens is ideal for dynamic landscape and architectural photography and will be available for £899.
Standout features include:
- Covers focal lengths from wide-angle 24mm to standard 60mm
- Features the first ever focus ring control capability in S series lenses
- A minimum focusing distance of 19 cm and a maximum magnification of 0.3x.
