Benro head targets hybrid shooters

Posted on Jun 19, 2025 by Adam Duckworth

The TH62 Tilt Head handles stills and video with ease – from social content to cinematic productions

Benro has announced its TH62 Tilt Head with Pan Handle, designed to meet the demands of content creators working with complex setups. The new head supports payloads of up to 14kg, making it ideal for professional stills and video work.

Precision-engineered and built from CNC-machined aluminium, the TH62 offers robust construction with a focus on smooth operation. It features eight internal tension plates that provide finely controlled friction for fluid pan and tilt movements – a critical feature for professionals shooting in dynamic environments.

One standout feature is the rotating top quick-release platform with an engraved scale, perfect for panoramic photography. Its Arca-Swiss-compatible clamp can also be removed for direct-to-head mounting, offering maximum flexibility depending on the shoot.

With a spring-loaded universal thread that supports both 1/4″ and 3/8″ camera mounts, the £135 TH62 is compatible with everything from DSLRs to cinema cameras. A removable ergonomic pan handle can be configured for either left- or right-hand use, and the head attaches easily to tripods or monopods using standard threads or Arca-compatible plates.
