Seagate unveils new One Touch SSD

Designed for content creators and tech enthusiasts, Seagate’s new One Touch SSD offers stylish, versatile storage up to 2TB

Offering  NVMe-competitive performance and stylish portability, Seagate Technology’s latest unveiling – the new Seagate One Touch SSD – delivers maximum sequential read/write speeds (up to 1030MB/s) and up to 2TB of storage. A high-performance external drive that can offer efficiency and peace of mind when managing and transporting important files, the One Touch SSD is suitable for backing up all your content, whether it be videos, photos or files, and enables fast synchronising, loading and transfer speeds.

Sleek, stylish and compact, the drive is designed with an aluminium top cover and fabric-soft touch on the sides, and is available in black, silver or blue. Seagate’s Toolkit desktop software with Sync Plus is included, offering file synchronisation via continuous backup, as well as Rescue Data Recovery Services to help defend against data loss and retrieval costs.

The One Touch SSD utilises USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB-C technology, and is compatible with both USB-C and USB 3.0 computers (both cables are included in the box). Aside from this, compatibility covers Windows, Mac, plus Android mobile devices using the Seagate Mobile Touch app. And for those on the go, the drive offers shock resistance up to a drop height of 2 metres.

In addition, the One Touch SSD comes with a complimentary one-year subscription to Mylio Create, plus a four-month membership to Adobe Creative Cloud Photography.

The Seagate One Touch SSD is offered for MSRPs of £79.99 (500GB), £134.99 (1TB) and £254.99 (2TB), and will be available at the end of May 2021.
