A new FX2-focused accessory collection from Wooden Camera gives creators the freedom to build their rig their way
Wooden Camera has unveiled a new accessory collection for Sony’s FX2, designed to give content creator more modularity, choice and value than any previous system from the brand.
The range includes a Top Plate with industry-standard mounting points, a Cage L-Bracket that protects the camera while maintaining EVF movement, a Cage Grip with battery access and extra mounts and a 20mm ARCA Riser for flexible cine or stills-style setups.
In a change from its traditional Core and Elite kits, Wooden Camera now offers multiple build options. Users can choose a Half Cage (Top Plate + L-Bracket), Full Cage (adds Cage Grip), Core System (Full Cage + Top Handle) or Elite System (Core + ARCA Riser + LW 15mm Baseplate).
“We understand the FX2 market and wanted to meet creators with competitive pricing,” said Wooden Camera’s Dominick Aiell. “These kits are equally suited to run-and-gun work or more elaborate builds.”
