Creamsource has introduced the Vortex 24 Soft, a 1950W powerhouse delivering over 190,000 lumens in the brand’s largest soft light yet
If you demand only the best lighting, take a look at the new Creamsource Vortex 24 Soft, a powerful 1950W light that’s the largest soft source in the brand’s ecosystem. Designed for scale, efficiency and seamless integration, the all-black fixture delivers smooth, even light with over 190,000 lumens of output. But the cost is $16,499 with no UK price yet being set.
Unlike the original Vortex 24 Hard panel, which requires domes or bounces to soften its output, the Vortex 24 Soft is purpose-built as a wide-beam solution. It spreads twice the usable light of the Hard variant across a 110° angle, providing brighter off-axis coverage and allowing it to be closer to camera and talent in tight environments.
With pixel-level control across 24 zones, an RRGBBW LED mix and full app integration, the Vortex 24 Soft operates in CIE xy colour space through the Creamsource Colour Management System, ensuring consistent calibration across the range, even at low dimming. Built tough, it weighs 47.8kg/105lb, is IP65-rated and offers extensive rigging options.
