Available in October 2025, the Fujifilm GFX Eterna 55 marks a big change in filmmaking cameras. Featuring Fujifilm’s proprietary colour reproduction technology, this camera creates rich and realistic images for filmmakers.

At the heart of the camera is a 102-megapixel CMOS II HS large-format sensor. This piece of tech is 1.7x larger than a standard 35mm full-frame sensor – the tallest large-format sensor ever used in a cinema camera.

Fujifilm’s unique Film Simulation technology is also included in this camera. One of these is the Eterna series, much beloved by many Hollywood cinematographers. The camera also supports up to 16 different LUTs for consistency when colour grading.

With an electronically variable ND filter and dual base ISO, the GFX Eterna 55 performs well in challenging lighting. Meanwhile, it also supports professional codecs like Apple ProRes and uncompressed RAW output.

Weighing approximately 2.0 kg, the camera is perfect for solo shooters but also small crews. Its dual side-mounted monitors allow multiple users to easily manage settings on set.

Built for everything from movies and documentaries to commercials and music videos, the Fujifilm GFX Eterna 55 empowers filmmakers. It can also be paired with the newly announced Fujinon GF32-90mm T3.5 PZ OIS WR lens for greater versatility.
