EIZO releases ultrawide, curved monitors

Posted on Jun 24, 2026 by Pro Moviemaker

EIZO have announced the FlexScan EV3851X and EV3451X – two ultrawide, curved monitors that are 37.5 and 34.1 inches respectively. The EV3851X succeeds the EV3895 as the next-generation ultrawide flagship, while the EV3451X serves as a streamlined alternative to the current EV3450XC for users who do not require built-in communication features such as a webcam.

Modern professional environments are evolving in several ways: how people work, as workflows grow increasingly information dense, hybrid, and collaborative; how organisations manage their technology, with growing emphasis on long-lifecycle and sustainable IT; and how a single device is expected to flexibly support a wide range of tasks across different workflows. These simultaneous shifts are shaping new expectations for display technology, and in response, EIZO has expanded its ultrawide lineup with monitors designed to deliver the efficiency, sustainability, and flexibility required in today’s versatile and future-focused workplaces.

From trading and analytics to creative production and healthcare, organizing extensive information on a single monitor has become essential for productivity, particularly in hybrid and collaborative environments. Both the EV3851X and EV3451X feature ultrawide, curved panels that provide expansive horizontal workspaces, allowing users to arrange multiple applications without the obtrusive bezels characteristic of multi-monitor setups. The 37.5-inch EV3851X delivers a UWQHD+ (3840 x 1600) resolution, while the 34.1-inch EV3451X provides a UWQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution, offering significantly more screen space than Full HD.

Both models are backed by EIZO’s world first 7-year monitor warranty from the date of purchase, ensuring dependable long-term performance. EIZO’s ability to offer a warranty of this length stems from its commitment to in-house product development and rigorous quality assurance. Each monitor undergoes extensive testing and evaluation to ensure consistent performance throughout years of continuous operation, minimising the need for premature replacement.

The EV3851X and EV3451X feature a USB Type-C connection that transmits video, audio, USB data, 94 W power delivery, and network signals through a single cable. This all-in-one solution streamlines laptop docking and is ideal for hot-desking or home offices, creating a clean and efficient workspace with minimal cable clutter.

The monitors include preset display modes for various workflows. The EV3851X includes Display P3, the color standard used by Apple devices, as well as DCI-P3 and BT.709 for content creation and video preview tasks. The EV3451X likewise supports BT.709 for consistent display across media-related workflows. Users can easily switch between display modes using the front buttons.

Both products incorporate sustainability focused design. A portion of the plastic used in the monitors is recycled plastic. They are packaged with molded pulp made from recycled cardboard and newspaper, and cables are wrapped in paper instead of plastic bags.

The monitors are certified to globally recognised sustainability standards, including ENERGY STAR, TCO Certified, generation 10, EPEAT, and the EPEAT Climate+ designation. These independent certifications support users and organisations working towards ESG (environmental, social, and governance) and SDG (sustainable development goals) objectives.

Together, these new models demonstrate EIZO’s broader commitment to supporting the evolution of modern work environments. By combining expansive workspaces with versatile connectivity, flexible display features, and long-lifecycle design, the EV3851X and EV3451X help support productivity and sustainable, future-focused IT practices.

  • DisplayPort, USB Type-C and HDMI video signal inputs
