Teradek says its new tech will redefine both on-set monitoring for live and cinematic productions and reliability of broadcasting from live events
First up is Prism Jetpack, a rugged 5G video system built for critical live coverage in news, sports and events. Powered by eight internal 5G modems and capable of bonding up to ten simultaneous connections, including Starlink, Jetpack streams in 4K/60p HDR with up to 16 audio channels. Its three-hour internal battery, hot-swappable Gold and V-Mount options, and Quad-SDI REMI workflow support make it production-ready. It features a detachable seven-inch daylight-viewable SmallHD monitor loaded with professional tools, all packaged in a Lowepro-designed backpack for all-weather reliability. Prices have not yet been revealed.
Meanwhile, the Bolt 6 XT 10K RX brings zero-delay wireless monitoring with integrated directional antennae and robust RF shielding, delivering reliable 6GHz and 5GHz transmission at up to 3km/10,000 feet. Supporting 4K/60p video, dual 12G-SDI outputs and with full Bolt 4K/6 ecosystem compatibility, the receiver – priced at £8994/$9990 – claims interference-free long-range performance.
