Flare play for personalised primes at Elysas

Posted on Nov 12, 2025 by Pro Moviemaker

Boutique cinema glass brand Elysas has finally put its Muse Prime lenses into production, with custom options for flare, bokeh, resolution, body colour and lens coatings

Covering full large format sensors – and even the 16:9 frame on Fujifilm GFX bodies – the seven-lens set spans 25 to 135mm. Each one delivers the brand’s signature ‘Melted Bokeh’, balancing vintage softness with modern sharpness for images with depth, swirl and subject separation.

Despite their large format coverage and fast T1.8 apertures – T2.8 on the 135mm macro – each lens is under 900g, with a 95mm front diameter, among the lightest in their class. The special launch price is $1999 per lens, which saves $400; customisation costs extra. No UK price has been set yet.
