Fujifilm unveils an Evo-lution in instant photography

Posted on Jan 15, 2026 by Pro Moviemaker

Discover Fujifilm’s instax mini Evo Cinema, a hybrid instant camera offering stills, 15-second video, creative era effects and instax mini photo printing

Fujifilm has unveiled the instax mini Evo Cinema, a hybrid instant camera built for creators who want more than a single frame. This 3-in-1 hybrid is designed to give users one of the most dynamic creative experiences the instax brand has ever offered.

With the instax mini Evo Cinema, users can create highly personalised content through still photos, short-form video (15-second clips) and instax mini photo prints.

This camera introduces the Eras Dial, offering era-inspired looks from the 1930s through to the 2020s. Each style can then be refined using the Degree Control Dial and finished with era-specific frames.

Meanwhile, STILL and CINE modes allow users to switch easily between photography and 15-second video clips, with the option to extend clips via the instax mini Evo app. Videos can also be printed as instax mini photos featuring a QR code for smartphone playback.

Inspired by Fujifilm’s FUJICA Single-8, the instax mini Evo Cinema pairs a sleek black finish with analogue-style controls. Additional features include a digital zoom lever, selfie mirror, LCD monitor and app-based remote shooting.

Similar to the new instax mini Link+ printer, the instax mini Evo Cinema camera is available from 28 January 2026 at £329.99, with a matching case available for £34.99.
