Panasonic unveils new colour options for the Lumix S9

Posted on Oct 30, 2025 by Adam Duckworth

Popular pocket-size S9 gets a new look in gold and three fresh colourways alongside major app and firmware upgrades for Lumix kit

Panasonic’s compact Lumix S9 full-frame camera has received a vibrant refresh with three new colourways – Jet Black, Smokey White and Ocean Blue – plus a shimmering limited-edition Titanium Gold version designed to stand out.

The Titanium Gold edition comes as a premium kit, including an exclusive camera strap, limited-edition stickers and a personal thank-you note from the design team. Priced at £1199, the S9 remains Panasonic’s smallest full-frame camera at just 403g, yet it packs professional performance with a 24.2-megapixel CMOS sensor, PDAF real-time autofocus and 6.5 stops of stabilisation.

Alongside the camera’s makeover, Panasonic has announced major updates to the wider Lumix ecosystem. The Lumix Lab app gains a new AI-powered Magic LUT tool for instant custom colour creation, while the Lumix Flow app adds support for more models, improved live view and multi-device connectivity.

Firmware updates also bring faster start-up times, Bluetooth improvements and enhanced focus ring customisation across several cameras and lenses.
