Sony boosts Burano colour

A free replacement Infrared Cut filter improves colour reproduction 

A new version of the Burano firmware will include new recording formats such as a new 3.8K full frame crop that can shoot up to 120fps, a Super35 1.9K mode than can shoot up to 240fps and a Super35 4:3 mode. Other improvements include the new 1.8x de-squeeze setting and additional high frame rates. The new firmware will also add proxy recording for 24fps recording and monitoring improvements.  

Burano units with a protrusion on the upper part of the front optical filter component already have the new IR Cut filter and no further filter replacement is required 

European and UK Burano users who wish to replace the filter should contact [email protected]
