Riedel expands its SimplyLive ecosystem with new tools, flexible licensing and replay tech

Riedel has unveiled a major expansion to its SimplyLive production ecosystem to make it one of the most accessible and future-ready live production platforms for modern creators. A suite of updates bring greater affordability, flexibility and scalability to live and remote workflows, ideal for smaller independent production teams and streamers.

At the heart of the latest update is more affordable Flex licensing for the SimplyLive Production Suite, providing access to professional-grade tools for one-off projects to long-term set-ups, without heavy upfront costs.

The launch also introduces RiView, a new video review system for instant replays. Based on Riedel’s RefBox technology, it is available in configurations from four to 16 HD inputs, offering synchronised multi-angle playback, touchscreen control and super slow-motion support. It’s ideal for live event coverage and sports with multicamera streaming set-ups.

The RiMotion R16 and R166 replay systems add 4K capability and advanced networking features, while the Venue Gateway 8 and 1612 Advanced models deliver HDR-ready workflow.

The SimplyLive Connect API allows integration with third-party software,  which in turn enables creators to manage and automate potentially complicated live productions using standard hardware or cloud infrastructure.
