SIGMA announces three new lenses for mirrorless cameras

The new 14-24mm, 35mm and 45mm lenses are designed for use with full-frame mirrorless bodies

SIGMA’s three new lenses – the 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN Art, the 35mm F1.2 DG DN Art and the 45mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary – are optimised for full-frame still or video shooting on mirrorless cameras.

The 14-24mm is a large-diameter, bright wide-angle which promises high resolution to the edge of frame. As such, the lens could prove to be a favourite among those shooting astrophotography.

The 35mm is SIGMA’s first F1.2 prime lens. The lens’s large aperture promises high resolution and large bokeh effects with a shallow depth of field making it ideal for those wishing to shoot portraits and similar ‘artistic’ content.

The 45mm features a compact design, intended for use with small full-frame mirrorless bodies. As part of SIGMA’s Contemporary line, the lens is designed for easy operability across the board.

All three lenses allow for high-speed, accurate and quiet auto focus when shooting still or video, with L-Mount and Sony E-mount AF mounts available. Other features across all three lenses include a mount with a dust and splash-proof cover, full-time manual mode and sturdy craftsmanship.
