Posted on Jul 25, 2025 by Adam Duckworth

Leica’s latest SL3-S bundles deliver great stills and cinematic performance with a nod to 100 years of camera innovation

The celebrations for the 100th anniversary of Leica’s first-ever series-produced camera goes on with the announcement of five new kits built around the latest full-frame mirrorless model, the Leica SL3-S.

The new SL3-S kits are designed to give photographers and filmmakers an accessible gateway into the premium SL-System, combining the latest camera body with a choice of fast primes or versatile zoom lenses at more competitive bundle pricing. The SL3-S was developed with hybrid content creators in mind, delivering robust stills performance and professional-grade video in a single, sleek body.

At the heart of each kit is the Leica SL3-S, the newest addition to the SL lineup. It features a 24-megapixel full-frame sensor, fast and precise autofocus and 6K video recording with 3:2 open-gate capture. It’s also the first SL-System camera to feature Content Credentials technology, which verifies image authenticity through embedded metadata.

Each bundle pairs the SL3-S with a carefully selected Leica lens or lenses, offering flexibility for different creative needs. The five kits now available in the UK include:

  • SL3-S Vario Kit 24–70, including the Vario-Elmarit-SL 24–70mm f/2.8 ASPH. – £5980
  • SL3-S Vario Kit 28–70, with the Vario-Elmarit-SL 28–70mm f/2.8 ASPH. – £5590
