Astera launches QuikBeam compact LED Fresnel

Posted on Feb 11, 2026 by Adam Duckworth

The new Astera QuikBeam combines portable power with a zoom head and flexible connectivity

Astera’s QuikBeam is a new ultra-compact LED Fresnel spotlight delivering the equivalent output of a 200W tungsten fixture in a lightweight, IP65-rated housing.

The latest addition to Astera’s Quik family features a 13°-60° QuikTurn zoom, with a HotBeam function that increases centre intensity beyond the 13° setting for tighter, punchier output.

QuikBeam produces clean, defined beams suited to uplighting, accents and feature highlighting. Power flexibility is central to the design. QuikBeam uses swappable, fully waterproof QuikBrick batteries that can be changed in seconds and charged via PoE while in the fixture, through an optional ChargingDock (up to four batteries at once) or via USB-C. Built-in Power over Ethernet allows both power and data over a single cable, supporting sACN and ArtNet, and enabling connections up to 100m via the PowerInjector or IP65 NetBox.

Driven by Astera’s Titan LED Engine, QuikBeam delivers RGBMA colour rendering consistent with the wider Astera range, alongside OutputGain performance enhancements.

Measuring just 136x120mm and weighing 1.6kg, the fixture includes integrated mounting threads and a removable yoke with AirlineTrack for flexible rigging. Control options include CRMX, wireless DMX, the AsteraApp, UHF, infrared and web interface.
