Manfrotto Introduces UNCOVER

Posted on Jul 2, 2026 by Pro Moviemaker

Manfrotto has announced the launch of UNCOVER, a new range of carry solutions designed for creators and urban travellers whose daily routines flow naturally between work, content creation and weekend trips, supporting a lifestyle defined by constant motion.

The UNCOVER range consists of two backpacks and two crossbody options, allowing users to choose the format and capacity that best fits their lifestyle. The line includes a 30L backpack and a 24L backpack, alongside a 12L messenger bag and a compact 7L messenger/sling bag.

Rather than functioning as traditional camera bags, UNCOVER products are designed to adapt to multiple use cases. Each model adapts instantly to different moments of the day, allowing users to switch from everyday essentials to photo‑ready setups in one second, all while maintaining a clean, understated aesthetic that fits work, travel and casual environments.

At the core of the backpack design is Manfrotto’s SmartLift compartment and roll-top construction, which allow the bag to expand or compress depending on what is being carried. The top section can be extended to accommodate additional gear or personal items, while a removable camera insert enables the bag to switch easily between camera carry and everyday use.

The exterior is built from TriTex, a custom three‑layer fabric developed to balance durability, water resistance, and a refined appearance suitable for urban environments. Additional protection comes from a coated base and YKK water-resistant zippers. For organisation and access, UNCOVER includes quick side access, a dedicated AirTag pocket, and a laser‑cut FlexGrid front panel designed to support full customisation and personalisation with accessories while maintaining a clean look.

Comfort has been addressed through extra harness padding and a ventilated back panel, supporting prolonged use during commutes, travel days, or extended time on foot. According to Nick Tsang, product marketing director at Manfrotto, the goal was to reflect how today’s creators actually move through their day.

“Many creators no longer separate work, personal life, and content creation into distinct moments,” says Tsang. “UNCOVER range is designed to support that reality by offering different sizes and formats that feel appropriate in a work setting, adapt to creative use when needed, and remain comfortable and practical for travel, without looking or behaving like a traditional camera bag.”

UNCOVER is aimed at creators who prioritise flexibility, understated design, and comfort, particularly those working in urban environments and traveling light. The backpack reflects a shift toward products that support multiple roles without forcing users to change bags as their plans evolve.

The Manfrotto UNCOVER range is available through Manfrotto retailers worldwide.
