Two new Nikkor Z lenses join the Nikon Z range

Both lenses focus quickly, quietly and smoothly, and are well sealed to protect from dust and moisture

Today Nikon announced the introduction of two new Nikkor Z lenses: the ultra wide angle Nikkor Z 20mm f/1.8 S, and the Nikkor Z 24-200mm f/4.6 telephoto zoom.

Weather sealed: Every movable part of the lens barrel is sealed to keep dust and moisture out

The Nikkor Z 20mm extends the Nikon Z line-up of high-performance S-line f/1.8 lenses. This bright, ultra-wide 20mm prime lens is a good choice for those focused on wide-angle photography. With advanced optics, the wide Z mount, and the f/1.8 rounded 9-blade aperture enable improved performance in most lights. Sharpness is also provided well at close distances thanks to a minimum focus distance of 0.20 m. ED glass and Nikon’s anti-reflective Nano Crystal Coat also combat ghosting and flare.

The Nikkor Z 24-200mm joins the Nikon Z family of lenses, suitable for use as a travel lens to capture detailed stills and videos. It makes the cut of being one of the most compact telephoto zooms available today, able to fit into smaller kit bags than most.

The large Z mount enables advanced balance and handling, whilst the optical design ensures sharp and vivid images. It allows deep contrast, whether shooting wide or telephoto. Video shooters can also capture advanced full frame footage.
