CVP announces dates for the Production Technology Showcase 2023

This year’s show will feature a host of workshops and presentations by the biggest brands including ARRI, DJI, RED, Blackmagic, Sony and Canon

Prepare for the third instalment of CVP’s Production Technology Showcase ­– this year at four different locations. The extended programme kicks off at HQ in Brussels before heading to Glasgow, Manchester and Bristol later on in the year.

The PTS provides a platform for visitors to explore the latest production solutions, technology and insights. Get exclusive access to products, services, engineering, financial and technical advice. This year’s showcase includes crew favourites such as ARRI ALEXA 35, DJI Ronin 4D, RED Komodo X, Blackmagic, Sony Cinema Line and Canon’s EOS range.

Workshops run throughout the day with focus on real-world case studies featuring expertise and guidance from CVP experts, industry representatives and key suppliers.

Belgium

Thursday 5th October – 10:00 to 21:00

Workshops from; Blackmagic (live production workflow with Alex Pettit), Manfrotto and Avenger (Nathan Ryan discusses grip and support), Canon PTZ cameras with Berry Wijnen and Sony’s new reference monitors, with Christophe Pitre.

Glasgow

Thursday 3rd November – 10:00 to 21:00

Workshops from; Blackmagic (live production workflow with Alex Pettit), Manfrotto and Avenger  (Nathan Ryan discusses grip and support), Canon PTZ cameras with Rowan Johnson and Sony Cinema Line updates with Alister Chapman.

Manchester

Workshops from; Sennheiser with George Vlad (Audio Fieldcraft), Canon with Alex Stone (filming in extreme conditions), Fuji with Jim Marks and Luke Cartwright (Fujinon Duvo 25-1000 and Premista lenses) and RED (documentaries fit for cinema with Tom Martienssen).
