Fujifilm X-T30 III mixes retro stills style with 6.2K video

The new X-T30 III delivers flagship technology and timeless design at an accessible size and price

Fujifilm has revealed the X-T30 III, the latest model in its X Series of APS-C mirrorless cameras. Available from November in black, silver and charcoal silver, the X-T30 III offers high-end performance in a stylish, lightweight body weighing just 378g.

The camera continues Fujifilm’s tradition of blending vintage design with cutting-edge technology, featuring a 26.1-megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and the latest X-Processor 5 engine. The result is double the image processing speed of its predecessor, improved power efficiency and autofocus powered by deep learning – capable of recognising faces, eyes, animals, vehicles and even drones.

There are Fujifilm’s celebrated Film Simulation modes, with 20 options including Reala Ace and Nostalgic Neg. A new Film Simulation dial on the top plate allows easy control, while three custom slots let users store their favourite “recipes” for quick access.

The X-T30 III supports 6.2K/30p 10-bit video and features enhanced image stabilisation for smooth handheld shooting. A tilting 1.62-million-dot LCD, ergonomic grip and Auto mode lever make it suited to beginners and experienced shooters.

Available as an £829 body only or as a £999 kit with the new XC 13–33mmF3.5–6.3 OIS lens, this compact powerhouse is ideal for everyday and travel photography.
