Ninja TX GO brings pro power via HDMI

Posted on Nov 5, 2025 by Adam Duckworth

The Atomos HDMI monitor-recorder delivers pro-grade image control and cloud connectivity in a lightweight form designed for modern hybrid creators

Atomos has launched the Ninja TX GO, a new compact HDMI monitor-recorder that brings the performance of the company’s flagship Ninja TX to a broader community of content creators.

Designed for HDMI-based cameras, the Ninja TX GO features a 5-inch, 1500-nit HDR touchscreen, delivering crisp visibility even in bright outdoor conditions. It offers the same advanced monitoring tools as its bigger sibling, including waveform, vectorscope, zebras, focus peaking, and false colour. Powered by the latest AtomOS platform, it offers a fast, intuitive interface with over-the-air updates for future enhancements.

Recording flexibility is central to the Ninja TX GO. It supports 6Kp30 RAW recording via HDMI, capturing high-bitrate, edit-ready files in Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW, Avid DNx, or H.265/H.264 formats. Footage can be stored directly to CFexpress Type B cards or external USB-C SSDs, providing options for both handheld and studio workflows.

A key innovation is integrated camera control, allowing users to adjust key settings — including aperture, shutter speed, and ISO  directly from the touchscreen. This free, over-the-air feature will be compatible with cameras from Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony, Z CAM and more.

With built-in Wi-Fi 6E and 20GB of free cloud storage, the Ninja TX GO supports direct uploads to Frame.io, Dropbox, and NDI 6/HX3 streaming, streamlining live or remote production.

It’s available now for £599/ $799, with camera control arriving soon as a free update for both the Ninja TX GO and Ninja TX.
