Take a peek at the Pico

Posted on Jul 16, 2025 by Adam Duckworth

The new Pico full-colour LED from Nanlite packs pro-level features into a 130g light

Nanlite has the Pico, a stylish and ultra-compact full-colour LED light designed for content creators, filmmakers and vloggers who are always on the move. Weighing just 130g and small enough to slip into a pocket, Pico combines high output, intuitive controls and wireless functionality in a sleek, go-anywhere package.

At the heart of Pico is Nanlite’s Nebula C4 Light Engine, delivering exceptional colour accuracy with CRI/TLCI ratings of 95/95, and a wide CCT range of 2700K–7500K – plus ±150 green/magenta adjustment for precise white balance control. It also features full HSI colour control, allowing users to dial in any hue and saturation for creative lighting.

Despite its compact form, Pico punches out 4211 lux at 0.3m (5600K) and includes a snap-on magnetic diffuser for instant soft lighting. There are 14 built-in effects, from firelight to strobe, ideal for filmmakers on tight setups or solo shoots.

The integrated yoke features a magnetic base, 1/4″-20 mount, and cold shoe adapter, enabling fast rigging on set or mounting directly to your camera. Pico can be powered via its internal 1500mAh battery for up to 6.5 hours or connected to a USB-C power bank for longer sessions.

Control is available via a dial and buttons, or wirelessly with Nanlink App 2.0 through Bluetooth, offering remote adjustment and firmware updates. Priced at $34.90, Pico is shipping now in mint or midnight blue.
