The main winner will receive $250,000 – the largest ever cash prize for a short film competition

Earlier in the year, filmmakers from around the world were invited to submit a three-minute short film to RØDE Reel, the world’s largest short film competition. The competition supports filmmakers to launch their careers on a global level, with astounding cash prizes and gear bundles awarded to the various category winners. This year, the contest received over 2,000 submissions from 114 different countries and saw the biggest major prize yet with US$250,000 in cash up for grabs.
